A park to live

The Archeopark, opened in 1999 in Darfo Boario Terme (Valle Camonica), was born from the synergies of the archaeologist Dr. Ausilio Priuli and the entrepreneur Walter Venturi.

It was the first Italian museum that was absolutely innovative in offering the public in an interactive way the reconstruction of the material and spiritual life of prehistoric and protohistoric man.

In a space of approximately 100,000 m2. surrounded by the carousel of the pre-Alps and immersed in nature among chestnut woods and green meadows, you will discover how the ancient Camuni and the Po Valley and Alpine people lived over the course of 15,000 years.

The distinctive feature of this big multifunctional theme park is that tourists, groups, schools and families not only can visit it, but they also can live it. Guided by cultural entertainers, they can do different activities in the didactic workshops as the copper beating, the grinding, the bread baking , the archery and the ritual walking in the labyrinth etc ..
